Friends of Good Music present Holiday Jazz with Combo Nuvo

This eclectic improvisational ensemble is comprised of some of New York’s leading jazz artists. The group combines influences ranging from jazz and classical to blues and world music. Led by Dave Schroeder, the director of the Jazz Studies Program at New York University, and featuring among others 2008 Grammy award winner saxophonist Billy Drewes, the band will perform some of their original compositions from their latest CD “Nouveau Sketches” interspersed with their own arrangements of beloved Holiday songs.
