The American Red Cross is asking residents in the Southern Tier to come out and give "The Perfect Gift" of blood and non-perishable food items. The event will be Monday, Dec. 12 from noon till 6 p.m. Donors will receive a free t-shirt and be entered in a drawing for tickets to the Buffalo Bills/New England Patriots contest. You may also get a chance to meet the Big Pig, as WPIG will be doing a live broadcast from the Elks Lodge, on State St., in Olean. You can call 1-800-RED CROSS to make an appointment, or simply walk in!
